— Biography
Dr. Ronan Brennan is a Consultant Dermatologist on the Specialist Register in Ireland.
In 2024, Dr. Brennan was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist at University Hospital Galway.
He completed his training in Dermatology in Belfast in 2019.
From 2019-2024, Dr Brennan worked in the Royal Victoria Hospital and Royal Hospital for Sick Children as a Consultant Dermatologist.
Dr Brennan has presented research at meetings nationally and internationally and has several peer reviewed publications. He is currently a co-investigator in the ASTAR atopic dermatitis registry.
He has a keen interest in medical education, completing a Masters Degree from Queen's University Belfast in 2019. Dr Brennan is a trainer for Dermatology Higher Specialist Training for the RCPI.
Dr Brennan is a member of the Irish Association of Dermatologists, the British Association of Dermatologists and the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Dermatologists.
He is currently on the Irish Association of Dermatologists scientific committee.
